Our tent design in general worked well. Our proposed changes would be:
- To improve construction and deconstruction time, if we could use an electric hand saw to cut grooves into the pipe to hold the the cardboard we wouldn't have to take the many minutes to tape everything together to set up and take down.
- To improve the ability of the drones to fly, we would use a different style of netting. While this netting keeps the drone within the tent, the rotors get caught very easily causing the drone to be unable to fly.
- Also, while its not a major thing, to decrease the difficulty of the tent's obstacles we could create shapes with larger holes. We were able to fly through every one of them, proving it was possible, but it seemed like many people struggled with getting through them.
How we would implement the Ultrasonic Sensor
- We would implement the Ultrasonic Sensor by putting in on one of our cardboard obstacle. It would be programmed to create either a noise, or flash a light when it gets a reading. This reading would mean that the drone has successfully flown through the obstacle.
